Carnatic music competition

HYDERABAD: To encourage those learning Carnatic music, Abhyudaya Foundation will be holding the preliminary round of its annual music competition in Hyderabad at Sri Ramalayam, New Nallakunta.

The preliminary round for the instrumental competition will be held on November 28 and for the vocal competition on November 29. The finals will be held in Kakinada on January 3.

The 8th Dr. Aruna Memorial Inter-Collegiate Music Competition is being organised by A.V College on Wednesday for girls and on Thursday for boys from 2 p.m. onwards at its premises.
