Awareness rally on encephalitis

Gorakhpur: Cutting across the lines of religion and polity, several leaders of various political parties on Saturday took part in “Encephalitis Bhagao Bachpan Bachao” (get rid of encephalitis save child) rally here, organised by the Gorakhpur Journalists Association on the occasion of Childrens Day.

Over 506 children have succumbed to different types of brain fever here since January this year. — PTI
