Tiruvasagam recitation

MADURAI: ‘Tiruvasagam Mutrodal Vazhibadu’ was done at the Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple here on Sunday by a group of around 25 Oduvars from various places such as Thiruthani, Palani and Madurai. Muthukandasamy Oduvar from Tirupananthal, Kumbakonam, led the proceedings, which was held near Nalvar Sannidhi. They were held between 8 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 5.15 p.m. The Oduvars sang verses from the Tiruvasagam.

Karumuttu T.Kannan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, and K. Rajanayagam, Joint Commissioner of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department and Executive Officer of Temple, were present.
