Navodaya Vidyalaya staff go on strike

KORAPUT: Teachers and staff of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya went on a strike on Monday in response to the call given by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Employees Associations’ joint action committee demanding the sanction of G.O.I. pension scheme of 1972 and sanction of 10% special allowance to all non teaching staff of the vidyalaya .

The principal managed the classes with the support of the contract staff.
