Riya simply superb

KOLKATA: Riya Dutta of Hooghly claimed a treble, winning the women’s, junior and sub-junior girls titles in the Central table tennis championship here.

The results (finals): Men: Singles: Avishek Mukherjee (HG) bt Souvik Chowdhury (HG) 11-6, 11-5, 13-11, 11-6.

Boys: Junior: Souvik Chowdhury bt Sayandipta Chatterjee (CN) 11-9, 10-12, 11-8, 11-9, 6-11, 11-6. Sub-junior: Nilanjan Sarkar (HG) bt Ranajit Sen (HG) 11-6, 11-8, 9-11, 11-4, 11-6.
