THANJAVUR: Jayabaskaran Charles, Director of Collegiate Education, has called upon the college teachers to be dedicated in their service to students. Inaugurating a workshop on fundamental rules and service conditions held at Kunthavai Nachiyar Government Arts College for Women here recently, Prof. Charles said that teachers should also know the fundamental service rules and regulations and strictly adhere to them. Panneersevam, Joint director, Planning and development, Directorate of Collegiate education said that teachers should remain as a role model for future generation of students. R. Devaki, Principal of the college, R. Jaganathan, retired accounts officer, and R. Rajalakshmi, Professor and Head, Department of History, also spoke.
