NEW DELHI: Shamsheer Ali struck four goals to guide Drakon/Sahgal Stud to a 6 1/2 goals to 4 victory over Jaipur Polo Company (JPC) in a group ’A’ league match of the Baroda Cup 12-goal polo tournament at the Jaipur polo ground here on Tuesday. Vishal Chauhan scored the other two goals for the winner which had started with a half-goal handicap advantage. Angad Kalaan (3) and Uday Kalaan were the marksmen for JPC. In group ’B’, Navy/Tiger defeated Cavlary 4 1/2 to 4. Manupal Godara (2) and Dhruvpal Godara scored the goals for the winner which started with a 1 1/2 goal handicap advantage. Tarun Sirohi (3) and Navjit Sandhu scored for Cavalry.
