Protests against Thackeray’s comments

AHMEDABAD: The Gujarat University students belonging to the National Students Union of India, the students’ wing of the Congress, on Tuesday staged a demonstration against Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray for ‘insulting’ Sachin Tendulkar.

The demonstrators also burnt an effigy of the veteran politician for his adverse comments against the cricketer in the party organ Saamna.
