Woman assaulted

NEW DELHI: A mentally challenged young woman was criminally assaulted allegedly by a radiographer in his clinic at Trilokpuri in the trans-Yamuna area on Sunday. The accused has been arrested.

The 20-year-old girl lives in the building housing the clinic of Bhagwan Das Boddh. On getting an opportunity, he allegedly criminally assaulted her on Sunday.

The incident came to light on Tuesday morning when the victim narrated the incident to her sister. As news about Bhagwan Das’ involvement spread, local residents overpowered him and beat him up before handing him over to the police.
