Azad interacts with PCC chief , KVP

HYDERABAD: Former Minister Md. Ali Shabbir’s lunch in honour of Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Ghulam Nabi Azad on Thursday saw the presence of senior party leaders of the State Congress.

Mr. Azad, who was here to participate in an official programme, visited Mr. Shabbir’s residence after calling on the family members of former Union Minister P. Upendra, who passed away on Monday.

Conference

The Chief Minister, K. Rosaiah, on return from Pune also met Mr. Azad in a luxury hotel where the latter was attending a conference.

He was joined by APCC president D. Srinivas, close aide of Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy and Rajya Sabha member K.V. P. Ramachandra Rao, Health Minister Danam Nagender, Minister for Arogyasri and Health Insurance Pithani Satyanarayana and Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal.

Political situation

He reportedly discussed the latest political situation in the State with the senior leaders.
