Man killed in accident

TIRUPATTUR: A man working in a photography studio here was killed in a road accident on Saturday.
Police said Thirumavalavan (32), a resident of Kalaingar Nagar, was going home from his studio on a two-wheeler.
When he tried to overtake a lorry near Sapthagiri Hospital on Krishnagiri Main Road, the bike hit the rear side of the lorry, throwing him off. Thirumavalavan came under the rear wheel of the lorry and was crushed to death.
Police said 50 photographers in Tirupattur staged a road roko for about 20 minutes near the Tirupattur taluk office seeking to know why Krishnagiri Main Road was not widened.
