Over 400 get offer letters

VILLUPURAM: As many as 414 candidates were given offer letters at a job fair organised recently by the Tamil Nadu Adi Dravidar Housing and Development Corporation (TAHDCO) at the Ginjee block development office near here.

A statement from the Collectorate said that on the direction of Collector R. Palanisamy, the TAHDCO had conducted the fair exclusively for Adi Dravidar, Scheduled Tribes and converted Adi Dravidar Christians.

A total of 1,200 candidates, men and women, attended the fair.

The Diesel Machinery Works at Perundurai, the Intimate Fashion India Pvt. Ltd, Nokia (Sriperumbudur) and Larsen & Toubro, Manapakkam, recruited the candidates, including 174 women.
