KOLKATA: V. N. Tripathi took over as the new General Manager of Eastern Railway here on Saturday from Deepak Krishan. Prior to this posting, Mr. Tripathi served as General Manager of the Metro Railway here. Having joined the Indian Railway Traffic Service in 1974, he has held various positions like General Manager of Southern Railway and Chief Operations Manager of West Central Railway in Jabalpur among others.
