Presiding over the 42nd National Library Week celebrations organised at the district central library, the Collector said that libraries would help students improve their writing and oratory skills and pointed out that the officials and panchayat presidents should take special efforts to increase the number of readers to the libraries.
Ms. Suganthi said that good books were stacked in the libraries built in all the village panchayats in the district under the Anaithu Grama Anna Marumalarchi Thittam and wanted the teachers to bring the school students to the libraries in turns to motivate the reading habit in them.
