Amaron batteries’ outlet opened

Tirupur: As part of expanding market, the Amara Raja Batteries Limited, which produces the renowned Amaron automotive and industrial batteries, launched its first Pit-Stop (state-of-the-art outlet for distribution and services) in Tirupur on Friday.

Paul Vasantha Kumar, South Asia Head (Sales), Amara Raja Batteries Limited, told reporters here on Friday that complete range of Amaron automotive batteries would be sold through the Pit-Stop here, which was the 144th such outlet in the country and 13th in the State.

The outlet is located on Uthukuli road near Kannan departmental store. (Ph: 9789105555 and 9500984666)

“Besides Pit-Stops, we have over 18,000 retail outlets in the country,” he added.

Mr. Kumar said that the company was the first to offer 60-month warranty for automotive batteries.

“The batteries sold through the Tirupur Pit-Stop will have the highest reserve capacity and cold cranking amps, among all the automotive batteries,” he added.
