Baby girl found dead

A baby girl who was suspected to have been kidnapped , was found dead in a pond in Madhavaram on Saturday.

Police said Vasantha of Tiruvallur had come to Madhavaram to attend her brother’s house warming ceremony along with her husband Baskar and their two-year-old girl Sudarmani on Friday. There, the girl went missing. A boy who was playing in the area told them that he saw two persons talking to Sudarmani.

The family informed the police. On Saturday morning, the body of Sudarmani was found floating in a small pond near the house.
