Covai Flower Show contests from Nov. 29

Coimbatore: The Covai Flower Show competitions will begin at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University on November 29.

According to a release from M.K.Shivaa, president of the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Uptown, the co-sponsors, following are the competitions lined up for various categories:

School students (KG to Plus 2): painting competition, flower arrangements.

College students: painting competition, poem writing, flower arrangements and vegetable carving.

In addition, there will be a competition for “Best school garden \ Best College (institution) garden” for which the managements should register.

For the general public, there will be competitions for best institutional\corporate gardens, best home gardens, flower arrangements, best photography and best stall.
