KANNUR: Leader of the Opposition Oommen Chandy alleged here on Monday that the death of a youth in police firing in Kasaragod on November 15 was a case of murder. Talking to reporters at Kanhangad in Kasaragod, Mr. Chandy demanded that Superintendent of Police Ramdas Pothan be shifted pending inquiry. Mr. Chandy was accompanied by Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee president Ramesh Chennithala, UDF convener P.P. Thankachan, UDF leaders M.V. Raghavan, C.F. Thomas, K.P. Mohanan, C.T. Ahamedali and Cherkalam Abdulla.
