Yeddyurappa holds talks with RSS leaders

Special Correspondent

BANGALORE: Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa on Monday held consultations with RSS leaders in Bangalore. While the exact details are not available, Mr. Yeddyurappa is learnt to have held discussions on the ways and means of making up for the loss to the image of the BJP and the Government owing to the recent crisis within the party. The meeting has come close on the heels of a CBI probe being ordered against a mining company owned by the rebel leaders.

He is also said to have held consultations on the party’s strategy for the elections to 25 seats of the Legislative Council scheduled to be held in December. Earlier, the BJP held a meeting of its office-bearers and an review meeting to take stock of the party’s preparations for the council elections.
