Awards for scientists

KARUR: Applications are invited from meritorious individuals or organisations involved in the field of environmental education and creating awareness, environmental protection and environmental management.

Besides, a cash prize is being awarded for the best research paper on environmental issues published during 2009 to encourage environmental scientists.

Applications for the awards and the prize could be had from the Office of Director, Department of Environment, Panagal, Building, Saidapet, Chennai on all working days upto January 8, 2010, according to a press release issued here.
