CUDDALORE: A fisherman, Nagamuthu (48), drowned in the sea when his boat capsized off the Thazhanguda coast near here on Tuesday. Police said four fishermen set out on a fibre boat for fishing in the high seas early morning. While returning, the boat capsized as the sea turned rough. While three fishermen managed to escape, Nagamuthu drowned as he was caught in the fishing net. The other fishermen retrieved his body and brought it to the shore. It was sent to Cuddalore Government Headquarters Hospital for post-mortem.
