Be a nationalist to achieve goals

DHARMAPURI: Sense of nationalism is vital among students to achieve goal in their life, said P. Amutha, Collector, here on Monday.

She was presiding over the national unity day celebration organised by the district administration as part of the National Integration Week.

It has been organised in schools and colleges in the district with the view that students should know the various cultures that coexists in our country.

Students from Government Higher Secondary School, Illakkiampatti, Vijay Vidyalaya, Pachchamuthu Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Avvaiyar Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Kendra Vidyalaya, Government Medical College, Government Arts College and Jayam Engineering College participated in the programme wearing traditional dresses of various states. Cultural events followed. Maheshwari Ravikumar, District Revenue Officer, N. Saminathan, Project Officer, DRDA among others participated.
