Last date extended

ELURU: The Deputy Director of the Fisheries Department on Tuesday said the last date for regularisation of freshwater fish farming was extended up to January 31. He appealed to pond owners to regularise their fish ponds by submitting an application to the Deputy Director, Fisheries Department along with a demand draft for Rs. 200 per acre before the deadline.

He said that many fish farmers still did not apply for regularisation of their ponds in spite of many appeals by the department personnel.
