MALAPPURAM: The Department of Sanskrit, Calicut University, will organise an international seminar on ‘narrative techniques in Indian arts and literature’ on January 7, 8, and 9. Scholars from Italy, Poland, Germany, Russia, Czech Republic and the Netherlands will attend the seminar. C. Rajendran, Dean of Languages Faculty and convener of the seminar, said that the seminar would focus on narrative techniques developed in Indian classical literature as well as sculpture, painting, music, and performing arts. — Staff Reporter
