State, SCR to review projects every month

HYDERABAD: The State government and the South Central Railway have decided to hold joint monthly meetings by the Chief Secretary with the SCR General Manager and officials to review the progress of various development activities of mutual interest and ensure speedy implementation of various pending railway projects. This decision was taken here on Monday when M.S. Jayanth, SCR General Manager, after assuming office called on Chief Minister K. Rosaiah. They held discussions on steps to augment MMTS train services and railway projects. –Special Correspondent
