‘Proof of Address Card’ to be accepted

CHENNAI: The State Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department authorities have sent a circular to their officials to accept ‘Proof of Address Card’ issued by the Postal Department as proof of residence while applying for ration card.

A release from the Postal Department said residents of Chennai, who wanted to apply for ration card and change of address could submit the Card as proof of residence.
