Jammu: Director Libraries and Research on Tuesday placed under suspension seven staff members of tehsil libraries at Ramban and Banihal in Jammu division, an official spokesman said here. During a surprise visit, Director B.A. Bhat found two libraries closed in Ramban and Banihal areas of Ramban district on Tuesday morning and ordered immediate suspension of seven officials and directed Deputy Director, Libraries and Research Jammu to post substitutes in their place.
