Implement Domestic Violence Act in full: AIDWA
MADURAI: All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA) has sought full implementation of Domestic Violence Act.
Its Madurai urban district unit staged a demonstration here on Tuesday in connection with the International anti-Domestic Violence Day being observed on November 25.
Two cases
Dindigul MLA K. Balabharathi led the demonstrators who sought speedy disposal of two cases registered in Madurai city pertaining to torture of women by their in-laws. District president M. Rajamani, secretary R. Preethi, State vice-president S. Gnanam, councillors M. Chelam, B. Palaniammal and A. Ponnuthai were present.
