Award for lexicographer

Bangalore: Lexicographer Prof. G.Venkatasubbaiah has been chosen for “Bhageerati Sahitya Puraskar” instituted by the Bhageerathi Bai Narayana Rao Maanay Educational Institutions.

The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 and a citation which will be presented to him on Friday at a function to be held at its premises at 27th Cross, 12th Main Road, Banashankari 2nd Stage.

On the occasion, a seminar on the life and works of poet K.S.Nisar Ahmad has also been organised.
