Justice Mohan Kumar to conduct probe

Bangalore: The State Government has ordered a judicial inquiry into coal imports for the Raichur Thermal Power Station (RTPS) and purchase of transformers over a period of seven years, commencing from 2002.

Mohan Kumar, retired judge of the Karnataka High Court, will conduct the probe, Minister for Energy K.S. Eshwarappa told presspersons here on Tuesday. Justice Mohan Kumar has been asked to submit the report to the Government within six months, he said. — Staff Reporter
