Gopinath to lead

Chennai: K.H. Gopinath will captain the Tamil Nadu under-22 team that will take on Madhya Pradesh in a C.K. Nayudu Trophy match to be held at the IIT Chemplast grounds from November 28 to December 1.

The squad: K.H. Gopinath (captain), Maaruthi Raghav (vice-captain), L. Suryaprakash, E. Aswin, Vijay Rahul, Aswin Venkatraman, K. Sriram, M. Prabhu, L. Vignesh, Malolan Rangarajan, Prashanth Verma, Lakshman Narayan, T. Selvaganapathy, Abdur Rahim and Garry Anthony Dumenil.

Vijay Shankar retains captaincy

Vijay Shankar has been retained as the captain of the Tamil Nadu under-19 team that will take on Baroda in the Elite Group ‘B’ match for the Cooch Behar Trophy to be held from November 27 to 30 at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium here.

The squad: Vijay Shankar (captain), Shravan Krishnan (vice-captain), Ganga Sridhar Raju, Anirudh Kasthuri, Pradip Kumar, M. Kamalesh, R. Rohith, S. Vivek Athinam, Ashwin Kumar, P.K. Dharma, Vignesh Mohan, M. Prithiviraj, M. Mohammed, Ricky Jones and T. Vigneshpathy.
