PALAKKAD: The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) will organise a painting and sketching competition for school and college students at Government Moyan Lower Primary School here on Sunday. SPCA district secretary P.K. Narayanan said the registration would begin at 9 a.m. on the day. The sketching competition would start at 10 a.m. and the painting competition at 11.30 a.m. Dr. Salim Ali Memorial Trophy would be given to the educational institution with maximum student participation. Prof. Induchoodan Memorial Trophy would be given to the students who secure the highest points. Those interested in participation should send the list of students with the certificate of the head of institution to the Secretary, SPCA, V.H. Road, Palakkad (ph: 0491 2534220/2527478/ 9249 796640.)
