Customs officials suspended

CHENNAI: Customs authorities have placed under suspension all nine officials who were arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation on charges of corruption at the Air Cargo Complex on Tuesday.

The arrested officials had examined around 40 bills on Tuesday. However, they were not immediately cleared. These bills were re-examined and later cleared in a phased manner. — Special Correspondent
