Women entrepreneurs visit Thailand

HYDERABAD: A 27-member delegation of Youth FICCI Ladies Organisation, Hyderabad chapter, which visited Thailand recently got a chance to exchange notes with businesswomen from Bangkok for developing business and exploration of new ideas.
The five-day visit helped raise the members’ awareness in a target marker and enhances their local contacts, Parvathi Reddy, YFLO chairperson, told a press conference here on Wednesday.
Business interest
She said the trip was aimed at exposing interior/fashion designers, architects, boutique owners, wedding planners and event managers and those from gems/jewellery and spa-related industries to various business opportunities and help them tie up with trade in Thailand.
Highlight
According to Ms. Reddy, highlight of the trip was the delegation’s meeting with Princess Sirinthorn, when discussions on trade between India and Thailand were held.
The Pochampalli cotton and silk and education in India were highlighted along with five industries.
