PEDDAPURAM: Sri Prakash Synergy School director Ch. Vijay Prakash has impressed upon children to keep themselves aware of the security system in the country and strive to safeguard the unity and integrity of the nation right from their childhood. He was addressing students at a programme organised in the school on Thursday in connection with the first anniversary of the attacks on Mumbai by terrorists. It was on this day last year that terrorists attacked the Commercial Capital of India and went on a killing spree firing indiscriminately at the people at the Taj and Oberoi hotels, the Chatrapathi Sivaji Terminus and Nariman House. Black badgesThe students wore black badges and lit candles as they observed a silent protest against the attacks. Tributes paidThey offered tributes to the Army and Police officials who sacrificed their lives fighting the terrorists. The students performed a dance ballet on roller skates to patriotic songs.
