Special Correspondent
TAMBARAM: A 36-year-old man was found dead in Pallikaranai on Thursday morning.
Pallikaranai police said the victim, R. Sekar of Thoraipakkam, was involved in a quarrel with a group over a real estate deal some months ago and since then, he was in Puducherry.
He had recently returned to Chennai. On Thursday morning, he was found murdered with his throat slit, hands tied at the back and mouth gagged.
The body was sent to Government Royapettah Hospital for post-mortem. Later in the day, four men surrendered at the Saidapet court, owning up for the murder. Sekar was involved in six murder cases, four in Thoraipakkam police station limits and one each in Saidapet and Velachery police stations.
