Special trains for Sabarimala

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Southern Railway will run additional special trains from Hyderabad, Kakinada Town, Vijayawada and Machilipatnam to Kollam between December 2 and January 17 to cater to the demands of Sabarimala pilgrims. The advance reservation for the special trains began on Wednesday, the Railways said. The 0766 Hyderabad-Kollam Special will leave Hyderabad at 1 p.m. on December 6, 13 to 23, and 30 and January 1 to 6, 8 to 13 and 15 to 17 to arrive at Kollam at 10 p.m. the next day.

The 0765 Kollam-Hyderabad Special will leave Kollam at 11.50 p.m. on December 7, 14, 15 to 24, and 31 and January 2 to 7, 9 to 14, and 16 to 18 to reach Hyderabad at 4.30 a.m. on the third day.

The 0766A Hyderabad-Kollam Special will leave Hyderabad at 1 p.m. on December 3, 10, 17 and 31 and January 7 and 14 to arrive at Kollam at 10 p.m. the next day. The 0765A Kollam-Hyderabad Special will leave Kollam at 11.50 p.m. on December 4, 11 and 18 and January 1, 8 and 15 to arrive at Hyderabad at 4.45 a.m. on the third day. The 0744 Kakinada Town-Kollam Special will leave Kakinada Town at 8 p.m. on December 1, 2, 5, 6, 9, 10, 13, 14, 17, 18, 22 and 23 and January 3 to 17 to arrive at Kollam at 12.15 a.m. on the third day. The 0743 Kollam-Kakinada Town Special will leave Kollam at 2.15 a.m. on December 3, 4, 7, 8, 11, 12, 15, 16, 19, 20, 24 and 25 and January 3 to 19 to arrive at Kakinada Town at 5 a.m. the next day. The 0730 Vijayawada-Kollam Special will leave Vijayawada at 7 p.m. on December 2 and 9 to arrive at Kollam at 10 p.m. the next day.

The 0729 Kollam-Vijayawada Special will leave Kollam at 11.50 p.m. on December 3 and 10 to arrive at Vijayawada at 10.30 p.m. the next day. The 0730A Machilipatnam-Kollam Special will leave Machilipatnam at 4.30 p.m. on December 5 and 12 to arrive at Kollam at 10 p.m. the next day.
