KALPETTA: A 32-year-old youth was killed when the motorcycle he was riding pillion collided with a jeep at Edavaka, near Mananthavady, in the district on Saturday. The police identified the deceased as Haris, of Koyilon, Kollikkal, Edavaka. Rasheed, 34, who was riding the motorcycle was admitted to a private hospital at Kalpetta with serious injuries. The accident occurred when the duo was returning from a mosque after prayers. Haris is survived by his wife and two children. — A Correspondent
