ELURU: The police will conduct a petition ‘mela’ exclusively for women at Jangareddygudem on November 30, according to district Superintendent of Police B. Balakrishna. He said the initiative was aimed at giving protection to the women subjected to domestic violence, dowry harassment and atrocities in the agency. The programme will begin at 10 am in the Jangareddygudem police station.
