Booklet on places of interest in State

CHENNAI: To depict famous religious, historical, cultural and important places in Tamil Nadu in art form as portrayed by various artists, the Tourism Department has released their collections in a booklet, ‘Tamil Nadu in Colours.’ Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi released the booklet, which was received by Chief Secretary K.S. Sripathi on Friday. It has 84 paintings by over 30 artists and will serve as a guide for visitors. The details are given in English, Tamil, French and German. The booklet will be available in tourism offices, guesthouses and tourism offices of other States. — Special Correspondent
