New equipment for hospitals to check flu

CHENNAI: To contain the A (H1N1) influenza, the Health and Family Welfare Department has supplied new diagnostic equipment to medical college hospitals in Chennai, Madurai, Tirunelveli and Coimbatore, according to Health Minister M.R.K. Pannerselvam. He was conducting a review meeting here on Friday to take stock of the situation and control measures. — Special Correspondent
