4 accidents
As many as five persons were killed in four separate accidents in Tirupur district on Thursday.
Ranjith Kumar (27), who was driving his bike, and G. Nagaraj, pillion rider, were killed when the two-wheeler and a car were involved in a collision on Tirupur-Dharapuram road.
G. Sampath (40) was killed when the lorry he was driving went out of control and fell into a valley near Palladam.
Moped rider K. Duraisamy (62), died when his vehicle was involved in a collision with a car at Avinashipalayam. R. Subramani (60), died when he fell from his bike while negotiating a pot hole on Tirupur-Avinashi road.
