Accident affects traffic movement

BANGALORE: Nearly 30 people travelling in a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus had a narrow escape in an accident involving the bus and three other vehicles on Friday. Movement of traffic on the busy Mysore Road was affected for nearly two hours following the accident.

The KSRTC bus bound for Mysore had stopped outside the satellite bus terminus to pick up passengers when a truck hit the bus. The bus rammed a tree. The truck also hit a car and a goods autorickshaw.

All the four vehicles were damaged in the accident.

The truck driver, who suffered minor injuries, was admitted in a hospital.

The police have registered a case.
