Gujarat Fluorochemicals to expand

CHENNAI: Gujarat Fluorochemicals, a part of the Inox Group of companies, planned to invest Rs. 500 crore to expand its caustic soda capacity to 1.70 lakh tonnes per annum (tpa), chloromethane capacity to 1,20 lakh tpa and PTFE capacity to 12,500 tpa at its Dahej facility. The company expects to commission expanded facilities within 2010. — Corporate Reporter
