Cavalry Black in final
NEW DELHI: Four goals each by Tarun Sirohi and Ravi Rathore guided Cavalry Black to an 8-6 victory over Jaipur Polo Company in the semifinals of the Manjeet Bhullar Cavalry Gold Cup 10-goal polo tournament at the Jaipur Polo ground here on Saturday.
Manupal Godara fought well for Jaipur Polo Company by scoring five goals. Uday Kalaan scored the other goal for the loser.
In the other semifinal, Sahgal Stud/Tiger recorded a thrilling 6-5 victory over Horse and Wagon. Vishal Singh (3), Gaurav Sahgal (2) and Samir Suhag found the target for the winner. Abhimanyu Pathak (4) and Buchi Prakash made it a good contest, particularly with a late surge in the last chukker.
