Vishal scores three goals

NEW DELHI: Vishal Singh scored three goals to guide Sahgal Stud/Rissala to a 5-1/2-4 victory over Cavalry Black in the final of the Manjeet Bhullar Cavalry Gold Cup 10-goal polo tournament at the Jaipur Polo ground here on Sunday.

Samir Suhag and Gaurav Sahgal scored the other goals for the winner which had started with a half-goal handicap advantage.

Tarun Sirohi (3) and Ravi Rathore found the goals for Cavalry Black to make a fight of it, but their opponents pulled through energetically in the climax.

The Union sports minister, M. S. Gill, presented the prizes.
