Woman attempts suicide

BERHAMPUR: A woman, Mami Pradhan (30), attempted suicide by jumping into a well along with her two children at Singipur village under the Khallikote police station in Ganjam district. The villagers manage to rescue the woman.

But her two children, a girl and a boy below five years, died. A quarrel with her husband reportedly forced her to take the extreme step.
