Heavy rain

SALEM: A number of parts in Salem and Namakkal districts witnessed moderate to heavy showers on Wednesday evening.

Salem city, its suburbs, Edapadi and a few other towns in the two districts experienced heavy rain.

Namakkal, Rasipuram and a number of other places witnessed moderate showers. Traffic in a few places was affected.
