Gulbarga:Three children, including a girl, who went missing from Gulbarga city in the past three months are yet to be traced. However, Joy D’Costa studying in Class 5 in New Noble School escaped from her kidnappers immediately after her alleged kidnap on Thursday. According to the complaint filed by Micheal D’Costa, father of Joy, the girl was allegedly kidnapped in a van by a group of persons from near the entrance of the school. Within minutes the girl escaped from the van when the kidnappers stopped the vehicle for a cup of tea near a temple on the Jewargi Road in Gulbarga.
However, 10-year-old girl Shabana, studying in Class 5 in a government school in Jewargi Colony, went to school on November 27 and never returned. The parents filed a complaint with the police on Thursday. Shanim Banu filed a complaint in Chowk Police Station on Wednesday. She said that her 10-year-old son Mohd Akhil, who had gone to a hotel in Nehru Gunj area for having breakfast last month went missing.
