Couple die in accident

Davangere: A couple died in a road accident here on Friday morning. The police said the victims Raghavendra (45) and his wife were coming into Davangere when their car hit an unknown vehicle head on. Raghavendra is said to be the owner of a cottage industry in Davangere.

Senior police officials including the Superintendent of Police Sandeep Patil visited the spot and conducted enquiries.

A case has been registered.
